Schools to be closed during Games : Sheila Dikshit

As the Capital readies itself for the Commonwealth Games, the Delhi government on Monday decided all schools in the city would remain closed during the event.
The Games will be held between October 3 and 14.
Following a Cabinet meeting today, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit said the Dussehra holidays have been rescheduled so that students can enjoy the event.
With the schools being shut, the traffic situation is expected to be under control, Education and Transport minister Arvinder Singh Lovely said.
