The Little Bee-Eater in Liberia!
It prefers quiet roadsides or semi-open grassy areas, often not far from water. Pairs or small groups are often encountered perched close to the ground, watching for passing insects in typical bee-eater style. It burrows into sandy roadside banks or even into nearly flat ground to make its nest.

These are blooming off our deck. As I was making this photo, I disturbed a nest of yellowjacket wasps. Got two stings for my trouble.

Barbie Doll To Be Modelled After Katrina Kaif
Monday, April 27, 2009
Initially Mattel Toys (India) wanted Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to be the face of Barbie Doll for India, but due to lack of available time for Aishwarya, Katrina Kaif is now all set to be the face of Barbie Doll in India.
This will be the first time a Barbie inspired from an Indian actress would hit the market shelves and put Katrina in the league of Hollywood celebrities like Elizabeth Taylor, Diana Ross, Beyonce Knowles and Cher for whom such a Barbie has already be designed. Katrina was recently seen walking the ramp, at the Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai, dolled up as a Barbie. The rumor is that a new series of ‘Katrina Barbie’ in a small pink dress will reportedly hit the market in September 2009.
I guess one loss is someone gain.
